This is a great test for two reasons: 1. It shows you can lift conversions on pages other than your landing page and homepage. 2. It shows that sometimes best practices don’t always apply. I hope I haven’t given too much away. Click here to vote on which version you think won.

Keep in mind this is a product tour page for personal budgeting software. It’s cool to see they have a free trial ‘download now’ button on this page. I think a lot of other sites could test a page like this. Even if it’s not a product tour page, think of all the other pages where you might be missing the opportunity to get a lift in conversions.
