New A/B Test for Your Vote: Email Newsletter Opt-in Form Gets 52.8% Bump

Who wouldn’t like 52.8% more email opt-ins?  This a/b test for The New York Public Library proves a few design changes can make a world of difference. Click to see if you can guess which version won.

A quick side note: We love your comments.  Everyone learns so much from the lively conversation in the comments under “test results.”

In fact, a couple of months ago, I gave our Senior Reporter Natalie Myers an incentive to publish tests that are ‘comment-worthy’: she’ll get a bottle of fine champagne every time the site garners another 1,000 comments.  With your help, this may be the week she’ll land her first bottle. Luckily there’s a fine wine store right next door to our offices.  The split second WhichTestWon hits 1,000 comments, she’s running over there!

Then she’ll Twitter @WhichTestWon to let everyone know which bottle she selected :-)

So, take a look at this week’s test, and then if you feel so moved, please do leave a comment.  http://whichtestwon.com/archives/4727
