New A/B Test for Your Vote: PPC Landing Page for Lead Generation
If you’re involved in lead generation online, this week’s test recently run by Hair Club to improve paid search ad campaign conversions, will definitely interest you: http://whichtestwon.com
As you’ll see, the two landing pages are fairly different. Version A features a flash video and brief copy with lots of links to more info. Version B is static with no flash and longer text instead of info links. Plus, there’s something extra not evident from our samples — Version A responders click through to a lead generation form on another page. Version B responders don’t. Instead, when they click, their lead gen form appears as an overlay on the page they’re currently on.
I think that’s a neat test idea. Don’t you? If you’ve also tested anything like this, please let me know.
