New A/B Test for Your Vote: Single vs Multiple Offers (37% Response Lift)

Can you guess which version of Webster Bank’s postalletter convinced 37% more people to open new accounts?

This test is particularly exciting because it shows what happens when you test a well-known marketing best practice. (In this case, single vs multiple offers.) Did the best practice hold up in reality??

BTW: Both versions were mailed to nth name slices of the same database, at the same time, in identical envelopes.  So, it’s a nice clean A/B test.
