New Test for Your Vote: Dell Coupons on NotebookReview.com

This week’s test is dedicated to all affiliate marketers and online publishers out there who want to get more clicks on their ads: http://whichtestwon.com/dell-test/

This is a test NotebookReview.com ran to try to get more revenues from buttons on their coupons for Dell computers. They radically redesigned the page – something many online publishers are not willing to do. I hope this test inspires more of them to.

Testing publication sites is difficult because you have to juggle the needs of editorial, brand, complex navigation, and often multiple sponsors. But, it’s worth it because in this recession, page testing can help your bottom line without having to sell more ads or even get more traffic.

So, anyway, I hope you enjoy it and write lots of comments about your own experiences in affiliate and/or publishing tests.

P.S. Thanks to everyone who tweeted or blogged about us this week, including Juha Kitinmäki, Estavan Martinez, Ben Hunt, Amadesa, Tim Ash, Per-Erik Skramstad, Eivind Savio, Steinar Knutsen, Caroline Bosher, Michael Whitaker, Chelsea Dwyer, Eirik Hafver Rønjum, Hollis Thomases, Joanna Pineda, Sarah Mitchell, Janine Jones, Women are I.T. WA, Scott Frangos, Matthew Smith, Jonathan Briggs, and the team at WiderFunnel Conversion Optimization who make it all possible.
