9:30-11:00 Test Inspiration

See real-life tests and results data from companies similar to your own. Learn how to identify when to test, what to test, and how often you should be testing. Includes copywriting, graphics, page design, offer tests, and the use of eye-tracking, visitor surveys and usability studies in conjunction with testing. You’ll learn to construct a testing hypothesis based on Web, email and current conversion analytics that will help you pick the optimal place to start testing. Conversion optimization requires a strong foundation, and this is a step often overlooked in the testing process.

11:00-12:30 Test Development

This session will teach you how to construct a high-impact online test. This will cover tactics for segmenting traffic, examples of a/b tests, when to try multivariate testing, how long you should run your test & how often you should optimize a ‘winning’ test page. We will go through several different testing templates for landing pages, website pages, and email campaigns, to help you develop a successful test.

12:30-1:30 Lunch with Instructor

1:30-2:30 Testing Measurement & Analytics

A test is only as good as its data, and this session will show you how to interpret this data. This session will cover SEO considerations, key conversion metrics, conclusiveness computation, analysis of counter-intuitive test results, how to run site-wide page template tests, how to roll-out results to other pages, and how to use testing results data to optimize your organization’s future marketing and site design.

2:30 – 4:30 Creating an Action Plan for Your Own Organization

Attendees will create an action plan for their own organization, including a testing calendar, priorities for conversion optimization activities moving forward, and will agree on particular tests to run. This session may also address office politics (including interdepartmental cooperation) as well as testing technology and/or agency selection.

Pricing & Reservations

Workshops are priced at $7997 for a day or $4995 for a half day (that’s as low as $399 per full-day attendee).  You are also responsible for providing a facility such as a large conference room with a projector screen and Internet, lunch for the group, and T&E for our Boston-based trainer to travel to your location.

Each Workshop is limited to 20 attendees so everyone gets the attention they deserve. You may invite attendees from outside your organization, such as your contractors, but you may not sell tickets. You will receive a PDF of our final PowerPoint deck, but you may not record audio and/or video of the Workshop. This is a live, in-person event only, and we maintain copyright over all materials.

Fees are due in full two weeks (14 days) prior to the workshop, and are non-refundable.
